The lovely quality brass butt plate is heavily decorated, possibly of European origin.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt features a faux ramrod, broken at front, under the barrel, which is to be expected as the Ottomans carried ramrods on a cord around their necks.
