During this conflict, BOTH the British Commander General James Wolfe and the French Commander, Louis-Joseph the Marquis de Montcalm were killed in the action.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe short sword is 27 1\/2 inches overall, with a straight double edged 22\" blade. This is fitted with a brass wrapped bone\/ivory grip with brass \"S\" shaped crossguard and a \"scallop\" shaped chappe. The pommel cap is also brass.
