Designed to carry 50 rounds in individual loops with six pouch covers to protect the primers. Heavy brass shoulder buckle and complete with anchoring strap to waist belt. Extensively used after 1888 especially in the Sudan in 1896 and the Boer War of 1899-1901. Superseded in 1903 with the five pocket pouch model. A top quality reproduction in its original light tan color with brass hardware.
