British c.1800 Brass Barrel Flintlock Pistol Marked Thames River Police
Original Item: Only One Available. A classic Dragoon pistol of the period but fitted with a nine-inch brass barrel and belt hook. Made by and marked "H.NOCK" (Henry Nock, one of London’s most famous gun makers) on the lock plate. The Brass Barrel is proofed and engraved "LONDON", "THAMES RIVER POLICE WAPPING No.6." All brass mounts including early style tailed brass side plate onto which the belt hook is mounted. Approximately fifteen inches in overall length and offered in very good condition.
