Original Items: One-of-a-kind set. Lieutenant GA Williams serial number N-726432 was an Army Medical Corps Combat Nurse Named Grouping combat nurse during World War Two stationed in Italy then transferred to the Pacific theater in 1945. She met her husband while overseas who was a lieutenant in the 66th Engineer Topographic Company. That company was also stationed in Italy. This wonderful set contains the following:

• Women’s class A uniform tunic and skirt. The tunic bears nurse’s gold washed collar tabs, Lieutenant bars, medal ribbon bar with the following ribbons: European–African–Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with two stars, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic–Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal. There are 4 overseas service bars on her left sleeve indicating 24+ months of overseas service. It is the correct tunic with slant front pockets and cropped cut.
• Khaki WWII issue shirt with Lieutenant bars and nurse’s gold washed collar tab.
• Khaki neck tie.
• WWII officer garrison side cap with Lieutenant bar (Williams is seen in a photo wearing this cap)
• 17 photos, 4 wartime, of Williams with her husband. The wartime photos are in front of various vehicles such as a destroyed German tanks, a WWII jeep marked to the 66th Engineer Topographic Company, etc.
• The most interesting is a WWII zippo style lighter that is inscribed: Lt. G.A. Williams N-726432 on one side along with a silver nurses insignia. On the opposite side is a 100% genuine SS death head cap badge.

All in all this is by far the most interesting WWII combat nurse set we have ever encountered belonging to a named officer complete with wartime photos and an incredible personalized zippo lighter!
