Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This brings a tear to the eye, a brass mounted FULL STOCKED, percussion Rifle especially made for a young boy! It even has a SET TRIGGER! The barrel of 32" and is octagonal throughout, it has a long barrel tang. The caliber is about .36" and it is rifled. Overall length is 45" and it looks just so cute.
Comes complete with wooden ram rod which has a bit of twirl to it for decoration. Never had a butt plate or patch box. There are faded markings on the lock, but the most we can make out is "..FIELD", but it may well be a trade lock. The barrel does not have any markings that we can see. Lock mainspring is fine but the set trigger and tumbler need adjustment, and it will not hold cocked currently.
From the great pile of 200 stored guns we purchased recently, ready to restore or love as is!
