Original Items: One of a Kind Set. Lot consists of 23 finely made miniature swords patterned after life size military swords from the early 20th century, 19th century and earlier. All are made of metal and have fine detail. You really have to examine this great little collection to fully appreciate the fine detail applied to each different example.
Some of the miniatures do not have any markings, while others are marked with the country of manufacture, such as GERMANY or JAPAN. As far as we can tell, these are all real military patterns, and the collection must have taken some time to amass. Please see the pictures for close ups of each sword and scabbard.
The swords vary in length from around 10 inches to 5 inches, and a few are simple cast souvenirs, but the majority are really well done, as shown. Looking at many of the pictures, one might think they were full size! They are contained in a nice homemade red felt "sword roll".
