Original Items. Only One Pair Available. This is a great display set consisting of both a Soviet and Finnish wrist compass from World War II.
The Finnish compass is “Suunto” made field compass, the company being based in Helsinki. The leather band is in good condition with some crazing. The compass has the proper SA arsenal marking along with serial number 141405. The chart on the reverse is well-retained.
The Soviet compass is an Adrianov compass, a military compass designed by Russian Imperial Army topographist Vladimir Adrianov in 1907. Wrist-worn versions of the compass, like this example, were then adopted and widely used by the Red and Soviet Army. There is a 1941 date on the interior, and the wristband is in good order, with a working buckle.
A great set of compasses, ready for display.
