Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is an original Austrian Hungarian Pre-WWI Artillery Tunic. It features correct Austrian manufactured brass artillery buttons. Some of the buttons are back marked with a double three-leaf clover stamp with initials "BSW" inside for the "Bruder Schneider-Wein" button company and "K.K. HOFLIERFERANTEN" which indicates they were approved button makers to supply the Royal Family. The company was based in Vienna and this stamp was the forerunner of the "Suppliers to the Imperial Royal Court" authorization. These approved craftsmen were "exempted by the Court" with an honor granted for life to work directly for the Royal Court and consequently they enjoyed many benefits accordingly. Overall condition of tunic is very good.
