Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very interesting piece of Japanese field gear, a water canister, possibly meant for attachment to a unit or vehicle. There is a data plate at the bottom which identifies it as a Type 95 Hand-Distributed Supply Canister, although we aren’t sure how well this translated. The serial number is No. 1043 with a possible date after that.
The canister measures roughly 19” tall and was likely issued with a cap which is now absent. The carrying handle is still fully intact and attached to both sides. The paint is extremely well-retained and the piece is altogether great. This is a really great piece of field gear that will look great in any WWII Japanese collection.
