Original item: Only One Available. This is a very nice set of WWII French 8 x 24 trench binoculars, made by Huet Paris. They come in the original leather case which shows extremely heavy wear and rubbing, with the straps broken and the leather beginning to dry rot.
The front right plate still displays all information:
HUET
PARIS
NO 6509
8X24
H/6400
Both sides of the Binoculars have clear optics, with both eye cups present and the focus diopters moving freely. The range reticle in the right side is clear. The eye width adjustment is functional, and it still has a complete and intact handle, though the button to lock it in place is quite stiff, and has to be pushed in manually.
The leather case is in fair, extremely weathered and dry-rotted condition. The carry strap is present but broken, and the lid closure tab is entirely broken as well. The material is coming off when touched, but will look okay for display.
This is a very nice set that comes ready for display.
