Original Item: Only One Available. These came out of an English Country Estate with an affluent history and may well have been left over from the old Slave Trade. As much as we would deplore it today, 250 years ago the Slave Trade was considered respectable and frankly a good financial proposition.
So here they are, made of hand wrought iron with hoops for each ankle, and a running chain to connect the two ends. This would have then been secured to the master chain. They are rust-covered, with some links very worn, so these definitely saw serious service and a lot of use. They measure 44 inches overall when stretched out.
