Imperial German WWI Prussian Steel Signal Telegraph Troop EM-NCO Belt Buckle
New Made Item: Belt Buckle (only). This is a very nice reproduction of the Imperial German WWI Prussian Steel Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß), designed for use by Signals and Telegraph troops. It is 105mm wide, intended to help distribute the load better, and has steel loops at either end, where a wire spool would be attached to let out cable. This buckle features the standard stamped metal box construction, with gray paint. These were made years ago, and this time has given them great storage wear, so they have a wonderful broken in look.
The front features the Prussian Crown, encompassed by a dual rope-like border within which, against a ribbed background, is the Prussian motto GOTT MIT UNS (God [is] With Us), and a spray of laurels. To the reverse is a buckle catch, and a metal prong bar with dual prongs, for the belt’s retaining tongue.
Great for display and reenactors!
