Original German WWII Restored Panzerfaust 60 Anti-Tank Rocket with Launcher

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. Panzerfaust 60 gross ("large") or Faustpatrone (Translated literally to mean: Tank Fist Large) was the third version of the Panzerfaust. This was the most common version, with production starting in September 1944. It had a much more practical range of 60 m (66 yd), although with a muzzle velocity of only 45 m (148 ft) per second it would take 1.3 seconds for the warhead to reach a tank at that range. To achieve the higher velocity, the tube diameter was increased to 5 cm (2.0 in) and 134 g (4.7 oz) of propellant used. It also had an improved flip-up rear sight and trigger mechanism. The weapon now weighed 6.1 kg (13 lb). It could defeat 200 mm (7.9 in) of armor.

This ingenious throw away Rocket and Launcher was one of AH's last ditch weapons adopted by the NSDAPs to try and repel the invading Allies on both the Eastern and Western fronts.

This example, acquired from a WWII veteran's estate, has been demilitarized according to specifications by the BATF. It was in relatively poor condition when we received it, so it was restored with the correct color paint and markings. The rocket does come out of the launcher, however the fins have rusted off, leaving only a small portion still attached to the wooden stabilizer.

This is a very rare example and your chance to own an original panzerfaust 60M launcher and rocket set, in fact, one of the only complete sets one we've ever owned.
