Original Item: Only One Available. Original Soviet military issue Patarooper’s Drop Knife as issued to parachutists and pilots during the Cold War. This particular knife dates from the Soviet Afghan War era. These knives were used by Russian paratroopers who were hung up or tangled in their parachutes' shroud lines. The knife has a unique shaped serrated blade, a brown bakelite grip and a ribbed plastic sheath. Included is the original plastic sheath. Appears unissued, but shows signs of storage wear.
