Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very good condition WWII German Wehrmacht Heer (Army) EM/NCO's Steel Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß). The buckle is embossed with the Wehrmacht motto GOTT MIT UNS ("God with us") surrounding a NSDAP Party Eagle. Nice field grey painted steel construction box buckle with a smooth background. The buckle is in good condition, with probably 90% of the paint present, with the expected light wear and oxidation. It does look to have been field repainted during the war, and the second coat also has worn through in some places.
The belt is faintly maker marked on the back with H.K. / 41, for 1941 Manufacture by Hermann Koller of Pforzheim, Germany. This buckle most likely never had a leather tab, as they were done away with in 1941.
This would be a great addition to any German WWII buckle collection. Ready to display!
