Original Item: One-of-a-kind. Fantastic tool box painted |168 ENGR CP. It measures approximately 30" in length.

We aren't sure but we believe this might be The 168th Combat Engineer Battalion papers consist of photocopied documents regarding the service of the battalion in the European Theater during World War II, correspondence to and from former members of the battalion, unit histories of the battalion's service in the Normandy and Ardennes Campaigns, and a diary written by John Kline regarding his service in 1st Platoon, M Company, 423rd Infantry Regiment, 106th Infantry Division.

The 168th Combat Engineer Battalion, United States (U.S.) Army, was formed at Camp Carson, Colorado, on 5 May 1943. The battalion left the New York Port of Embarkation on 3 May 1944 and arrived in England on 15 May 1944. The battalion was assigned to Combat Command B, 7th Armored Division and participated in the Normandy, Central Europe, Northern France, Ardennes, and Rhineland Campaigns during World War II. The battalion was in Belgium at the end of the war in Europe and returned to the U.S. on 21 November 1945. The unit was inactivated at Camp Kilmer, New Jersey, on 22 November 1945
