Original Item, Newly Refinished: The original Thompson Submachine Gun was manufactured by Colt. Only 15,000 were ever made. Later, during WW2, Stevens and Auto-Ordnance made many hundreds of thousands. The oiler supplied with the original Colt Thompson was nickel plated, while the oilers provided with the later guns were black crinkle-painted. Except for the finish, both types of oilers were identical.

IMA has taken some of the original WW2 era Thompson military issue oilers and nickel plated them to reproduce the look of the hard to find original Colt product. The look is perfect, and everything is vintage except the nickel plating.
