Spanish Civil War Modelo 21 M-1921 Steel Army Helmet

Item Description

New Made Item: Essentially WW1 was the starting point for all Modern Warfare to require the use of Steel Helmets not used since medieval times.

Spain's first model, produced in 1921, was only issued for five years being superseded in 1926 by the Modelo 26. Only 12,000 of the Modelo 21 helmets were produced and saw service in the Spanish Civil War of the 1930s. While the Modelo 26 is hard to find, the Modelo 21 is virtually impossible.

Here we offer a perfect reproduction of Modern Spain's First Steel Helmet, complete with three pad leather liner and Chin Strap, each Modelo 21 Helmet comes complete with Spanish Brass Eagle Helmet Badge. A very fine example to fill the gap in any Military Helmet collection.

Fits up to size 7 1/2 (60 cm).
