I was trying to clean the area where I had messed up trying to install a decal. I was using acetone, which started taking off the layer of grey-green paint. I decided to go ahead and take all of it off. The layer of paint underneath was a much more authentic color than the one that was shipped! It matches exactly the forest green I have seen in original cavalry/uhlan helmets. (Posted on 11/3/09)

My favorite helmet. Comfortable weight compared to other helmets. I added a harness leather band between metal and existing leather liner for a perfect custom fit. Wear for protection when riding my motorized trike. (Posted on 11/17/08)
