Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice set of hard to find Japanese WWII Leather Ammo pouches for Arisaka Rifles. This set consists of two pouches, the front pouch and the back pouch.
The smaller pouch is one of the two front worn pouches. This is the first pattern, with only one securing loop over the closure strap. The second pattern added a second loop, which made it much more stable. These were usually worn 2-3 on a belt, and are very hard to find, even as just a single pouch. This example retains both securing strap ends for the side knobs, and both belt loops.
The second pouch is the larger pouch to be worn on the back of the belt, and shows heavier service wear. It is in great condition besides that the straps to the side that are meant to hold the oiler. These straps are now broken and will not hold an oiler. The front securing strap and belt loops are in good shape. There are initials scratched onto the top, HAE.
A great and rare set of pouches to find in any condition. Comes ready to attach to a belt and display!
