Measuring a huge 47" when the five barrels are fully drawn and reducing to just 13" when collapsed. Full veneered wood barrel with high quality brass mounts. Optically just fabulous with amazing magnification, ideal for use at sea or perhaps a Commander who likes to "stand well back"?

James W. Queen & Co. was in business in Philadelphia from 1855 and supplied mostly laboratory instruments but also very fine high quality telescopes.

The Owner's name engraved around main brass collar as follows:
