Original German WWII Panzerfaust 60 Anti-Tank Rocket Launcher

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. Panzerfaust 60 gross ("large") or Faustpatrone (Translated literally to mean: Tank Fist Large) was the third version of the Panzerfaust. This was the most common version, with production starting in September 1944. It had a much more practical range of 60 m (66 yd), although with a muzzle velocity of only 45 m (148 ft) per second it would take 1.3 seconds for the warhead to reach a tank at that range. To achieve the higher velocity, the tube diameter was increased to 5 cm (2.0 in) and 134 g (4.7 oz) of propellant used. It also had an improved flip-up rear sight and trigger mechanism. The weapon now weighed 6.1 kg (13 lb). It could defeat 200 mm (7.9 in) of armor.

This ingenious throw away Rocket and Launcher was one of AH's last ditch weapons adopted by the NSDAPs to try and repel the invading Allies on both the Eastern and Western fronts.

This example, acquired from the son of a WWII veteran, has been demilitarized according to specifications by the BATF. It still retains its original paint with visible red stenciling still legible, original leaf sight and plunger trigger assembly are also still present, regrettably original rocket is no longer present, but we do offer a very fine reproduction.

This is an excellent example the equal of which typically only be seen in museums. Here is a very rare chance to own an original finish panzerfaust 60M launcher, in fact, the only one we’ve ever owned.
