Original Item: Most of the magazine loading tools made for the Lewis Light Machine Gun were made from a single piece of tubular steel. The gripping portion of the handle was checkered, and the other end featured a stud that positioned the tool in the magazine. I.M.A. has found a small quantity of Lewis magazine tools that have a hardwood handle instead of the checkered steel style. They work in exactly the same way as the standard all-steel tool.
A rare find offered in very good to excellent condition.
