Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is a truly delightful firing Bronze muzzle loading Cannon dating from as early as 1785 to the end of the Napoleonic wars in 1815.

It is small, measuring just under 33" in overall length with a 2" bore and would have fired a one pound iron cannon ball.

This cannon was recovered from the Nepalese Royal Armory purchase in 2003. It no longer has any European markings: these were most often removed before delivery to the colonies, and displays only a few Negari markings traditionally denoting the date and the acquisition details of the weapon by the Royal Nepalese Army.

Today this has been mounted on a new made wheeled wooden Naval 18th century Style Carriage of the period making this a great display item for any Collector.

We even took it out and fired it! See the video, and guess what, it was accurate at 100 yards!
