British Lewis LMG Stop Pawl Assembly

Original Item: The Lewis gun introduced a new concept in feed systems for machine guns, resulting in the very distinctive flat drum magazine.  The system of advancing and positioning the magazine was brilliantly simple.  Exact positioning of the magazine for each shot was controlled by the stop pawl assembly, which consists of a right and left pawl and a stop pawl spring.
