British Bobby Police Comb Pattern Helmet: Greater Manchester

Original Item: Made surplus some years ago these are the current issue Bobby helmets from the English city of Manchester located in the North. Each Bobby Helmet comes complete with liner, chinstrap, and while it has been issued, is in excellent collectible condition.

The helmet silhouette often referred to as a comb top and bears the E.R.II Crown in the center of the red & blue enameled helmet plate. Greater Manchester is England’s second largest city behind London. Now withdrawn from Government sale, for security reasons, these Bobby Helmets are sure to become extremely scarce in the not too distant future.

Sizes vary most are 7 1/4 US (58 cm), no choice.
