British Victorian Courier Message Pouch with Belt

New Made Item: Top Quality brown leather message pouches complete with belt and brass fittings. This pouch was designed to be worn in the middle of the back. The leather belt was worn over one shoulder and under the other. From a time when battlefield communications were carried by Military Couriers and were safe in the pouch which the courier could not reach. Only the recipient could open the pouch. The securest way of transporting written orders from the time of the Revolutionary War up to WWI when field radios first became available.
