British Household Cavalry Trooper Sword with Scabbard

Original Item: These are correct pattern Cavalry Trooper's Swords as used by both Life Guards and Horse Guards of the Household Cavalry. Heavily nickel plated these have 34" very slightly curved blades with fretted basket type guards bearing "King's Crown". Blades Ordnance and Maker marked each comes with its Nickel plated Parade Scabbard. Although believed to be from the pre 1952 era we are told that these swords were all reconditioned in the 1970/80s.
