DESCRIPTION

Product Description

Original Item: These are WW1 style brown leather bayonet frogs complete with brass securing buckle normally found with the Enfield No.1 and p.14 rifle bayonets. However, these have been modified for use in WW2 with the Enfield #4 Spike Bayonet. An extra row of stitching has been added reducing the size of the loop into which the bayonet fits. This is an unusual modification but a way of keeping obsolete pattern equipment in use for a struggling British Army.
