Indian Mutiny (1858) Tulwar Sword: Original

Item Description

Original Item: From our Nepal cache, these are the REAL thing, not 20th century Bazaar copies that are currently encountered in Afghanistan. These really are genuine Tulwar Swords recovered from the fleeing mutineers in 1859 when crossing the border into the mountain kingdom of Nepal. No two are alike, no scabbards survived, if they ever had them, just really wicked looking Tulwar Swords with a superb provenance. Classic Tulwar style steel hilts, with and without knuckle bows, our choice (you may make a request but no guarantees as to what we can provide) first come first served. Un-cleaned and absolutely original, here we offer another piece of forgotten history for the collector to preserve. One sword per sale (multiple swords are photographed only to demonstrate different styles and variations).
