Item Description
Original Item: Just released from Military Stores these this is the standard WW2 design full size Entrenching Tool with Pick on one side and Mattock on the other. Used by Artillery units and often seen attached to WW2 German Tanks. Other than being German and solidly constructed, these are relatively Standard but are interesting being of a known Military origin. A very unique classic German WW2 design; see "Uniforms and Tradition of the German Army 1933-1945" by Angolia and Schlicht, page 191 (photo). Post war manufacture on WW2 era machines.
Approximately 3' long.
