German WWII MG 42 Original Display LMG: Special Select Grade

Item Description

Original Item: One Only! Rebuilt from original MG parts this is the desirable German issue WW2 MG 42 Light Machine Gun reconstructed as an INERT non-firing Display piece in 7.92mm. Receiver with original markings: MG 42, serial number and the makers code "cra" for "Altmarkische Kettenwerke GmbH, Berlin, later renamed "MAGET-Maschinenbau und Geratebau GmbH" in 1942/1943.  Various other WW2 markings on various parts together with possible post war numerals added. In really nice shape this is the ONLY MG 42 we received with it's bakelite butt stock, all our other had wooden butts. There is a small puncture hole in the bakelite butt on the right side about approx 3mm in diameter. Complete with adjustable bipod assembly this makes a really splendid Display. Note: The barrel is welded into place and cannot be removed. No Federal Restriction on ownership. CANNOT BE EXPORTED OUTSIDE USA.
