New Made Item: Early Afrika Korp Army units were equipped with quality olive drab lightweight tropical uniforms but later issues, especially Luftwaffe, Kriesmarine and SS, utilized a lighter tan material found to be more resilient in the scorching African heat (this item).
This is an authentic reproduction of the early issue desert combat uniform of the Afrika Korp in Light Tan consisting of:
1) Forage Cap (approx size XL 7 3/4 , for another size please specify in "comments field" at checkout), with correct red lining, white piping, National Colors Cockade badge and embroidered spread Eagle Badge.
2) Correct multi-pocket Tunic (approx. size 44"-46") complete with issue buttons, shoulder boards, collar tabs, Afrika cuff title, metal Infantry Assault Badge on left breast together with a detached embroidered Spread Eagle Breast Badge for you to attach to the Right side, either above the pocket or partially over the pocket as often worn as styles varied.
3) Regulation style issue Trousers (approx size 36-38") complete with all pockets, seven button fly and integral belt and buckle.
4) We do offer a size choice for the Trousers; Size 38" OR Size 44". Please specify in "comments field" at checkout- if you fail to indicate your preference it becomes our choice.
This is a high quality Afrika Korp uniform, three piece set, available in later issue light tan/khaki, for a great price.
A note on sizing: the size of the Tunic & Trousers is intentionally large as they are designed to be tailored for a correct fit. One size only; the cap does have three options.
