This strap has correct brass fittings, cotton stitching and is comprised of true top-grain supple leather. We had these made up to provide WWI Helmet collectors with the best chin-strap possible for your pickelhaube or even an M16 or M17 helmet after being disappointed with everything else on the market.

Features include accurate tolerance for the lug fittings - they won’t fall off; one piece leather (not bonded leather); white cotton stitching in rough style (like the originals); accurate measurements; strong steel buckles (you will not break them); brass; the correct tone and color of leather, we even stamp them with a German manufacturer and WWI date for added authenticity.

These are ideal for the reenactor or refurbished helmet, or you can age them up for an untouched relic or to complete an original high collectible helmet.
