DESCRIPTION: Product Description

New Made Item: A beautiful full size accurate reproduction of this amazingly decorative M.1858 Cavalry Helmet dating from the time of Napoleon III. In a wearable headsize of up to approx 71/2 these are constructed with steel helmet bowls overlaid with a pony skin turban (simulating the original 19th century seal skin). Magnificent embossed brass crest bearing Medusa's head and flaming bomb topped with red horsehair brush denoting heavy cavalry. Full black Horse tail from the rear, complete with red feather hackle plume and full leather backed brass chin scales. Adjustable full leather liner to the interior make this a ready to wear Military Trophy for your display.
