Original U.S. Vietnam War Era Vice Admiral David Richardson Khaki Service Uniform Peaked Visor Cap by Berkshire With Naval History Division Printout - Deputy Commander US Pacific Fleet (1970 - 1972)

Item Description

Original Items: Only One Available. This Peaked Visor is not only appealing to the eye but is also of great historical significance. Despite appearing to be a standard Admiral’s Khaki Service uniform visor, there are a few distinctive features that set it apart from others. The cap bears the name of Vice Admiral David Richardson, who at this time was Deputy Commander of the US Pacific Fleet (1970 - 1972).

The United States Pacific Fleet (USPACFLT) is a theater-level component command of the United States Navy, located in the Pacific Ocean. It provides naval forces to the Indo-Pacific Command. Fleet headquarters is at Joint Base Pearl Harbor–Hickam, Hawaii, with large secondary facilities at Naval Air Station North Island, California.

This visor cap still has the original maker label mostly clear on the interior crown, under the celluloid sweat guard, which has yellowed over time:
