Original Item: The Vickers Mk I Medium Machine Gun was supplied with a combination wrench as part of its support equipment. IMA has both the original Mk I version and a Mk II version introduced in June of 1918. The Mk I tool provided the following functions:
Large spanner for disassembling the muzzle attachment
Small spanner for removing the Mk II muzzle cup
Small square socket wrench for the clamp on the Mk I muzzle cup
Round socket on the end of the handle for removing the cap on the connecting rod.
The Mk II tool eliminated the small square socket for the Mk I muzzle cup, which had been dropped years before.
