New Made Item: These are not New Old Stock, instead these are Old New Stock. Purchased in the 1980s and laying in hiding at IMA ever since, a case has just come to light. This is a reproduction brass mounted P-1853 Pattern black leather socket bayonet scabbard and matching black leather frog complete with brass securing buckle. Each is approximately 25 years old and already shows age, pretty soon, in another 75 years, they'll be genuine antiques! We?ve given you a nice head start. These are a perfect match for our genuine 19th century Nepalese Cache P-1853 socket bayonets. Ready for re-enactment or display. It's not a big case so hurry. Scabbards and Frogs, as used in the American Civil War!Bayonet not included, but is available separately (Item #NB1859).
