Item Description

Original Item: 25th Regiment of Foot, The King_s own Borderers, raised in 1689 in Edinburgh, saw service in Egypt, Martinique, Afghanistan and South Africa. Became the King's Own Scottish Borderers in 1887. St. Andrew's Cross with Castle at center surrounded by lion atop crown all in thistle wreath. Used on checker board glengarry.
