Original Items: Only One Set Available. This is definitely one for you camera fans! This is a 1980s issue KS-99E Still Picture Camera Set by Olympus, which features an OM-2 S Camera, as well as a plethora of accessories. This is one of several camera sets released by the U.S. Military over the decades, which were used by their photographers for press and documentation purposes. Unfortunately, information on these sets following the Korean war era is quite lacking, and we have not been able to find out much at all about this particular set, particularly what it was used for. It comes in its original case, which still has a data tag reading:

This would indicate the camera set was made under a 1986 contract, so it was probably in service in the late 1980s and possibly into the 1990s. The set in the case weighs in at about 18 1/2lbs, and the case itself measures 20" x 14 1/2" x 10". Inside is a large number of accessories, including filters, lenses, lens adapters, a case, a power adapter, and even several original Olympus Manuals. We were unfortunately not able to test any of the equipment, but it looks to have been kept in good serviceable condition, and then put into storage, where it remained for several decades before we acquired the set.
